PROCESS
In our initial meeting, we will look over and
discuss your current layout, to determine the specific areas in
your kitchen that need improvement. Perhaps you need more storage
or countertop space, or crave an island that accommodates seating
for your guests. Once we determine how we can enhance the functionality
of your kitchen, we will explore how it should appear. Do you
love traditional details – mullion glass doors, arched valances,
and decorative feet? Or do you prefer a more clean-lined, contemporary
look? From staggered heights and depths, to angled islands, and
open shelving, we will make your kitchen a “one of a kind,” warm and inviting living space suited to your lifestyle. |

We use AutoCAD (a computer-aided drafting program),
to create a floor plan and elevations for your kitchen. This allows
us to illustrate the door style you select, along with other custom
features, such as carved legs, and crown molding. We can also
render three dimensional images to help get a full vision of your
new kitchen. We do not rush through the design process; we prefer
to examine every detail, to be certain nothing is overlooked – even down to measuring your plates to be certain they fit inside
the wall cabinets. |

As discussed in “Our Team” page, we have skilled
carpenters who work directly for the company (verses subcontractors).
Together with Kevin, they are able to install your new cabinets,
as well as handle “light remodeling.” This consists
of removing your existing kitchen, laying down new flooring, tiling
your backsplash, as well as replacing windows and moving doorways.
The extent of this “light remodeling” does vary from
project to project, but does not extend as far as building additions
or new homes. Kevin acts as our Project Manager, working with
installers throughout the project to be certain all plans are
understood, and overseeing the plumber and electrician on the
job site. We pride ourselves on having the resources and ability
to manage each detail of your project from start to finish, a
benefit that certainly allows for a more seamless transition from
before to after.
